Genesis 10 - Noah's Kinfolk

These here are the kinfolk of Noah's boys Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who all had youngins after the big ol' flood. Japheth had boys named Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. Gomer had sons named Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. Javan had boys named Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim. Them island folks were split up into their own countries, each with their own languages and clans.

Ham had boys named Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan. Cush had sons named Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. Raamah had boys named Sheba and Dedan. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who was the first big warrior on earth. The Lord saw him as a great hunter, and folks still say "Like Nimrod, whom the LORD saw as a great hunter." The biggest cities in his kingdom were Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh in the land of Shinar. Asshur left that land and built Nineveh, Rehoboth City, Calah, and Resen, the great city between Nineveh and Calah. Egypt was the father of Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, Pathrusim, Casluhim, and Caphtorim, who were the Philistines.

Canaan was the father of Sidon, his oldest boy, and Heth, the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. After that, the Canaanite clans were scattered. The Canaanite boundary went from Sidon to Gerar to Gaza and Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim to Lasha. These here are Ham's boys according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.

Shem, who was Eber's daddy and Japheth's older brother, also had youngins. Shem had boys named Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram. Aram had boys named Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash. Arpachshad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber. Eber had two sons: The first was named Peleg, because during his lifetime the earth was split up. His brother's name was Joktan. Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, Obal, Abimael, Sheba, Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All of them were Joktan's sons. Their settlements went from Mesha to Sephar, the eastern mountains. These here are Shem's boys according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.

These here are the clans of Noah's boys according to their generations and their nations. From them, the earth's nations were formed after the flood.
